2018 World Migratory Bird Day at Armand Bayou Nature Center

Environment for the Americas coordinates WMBD in the Americas to increase awareness and motivate conservation of the migratory birds we share across borders. It is a celebration of one of the most important and spectacular events in the life of a migratory bird -its journey between breeding and non-breeding grounds. The program was created by Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center to focus public attention on the need for action to conserve birds and their habitats.

Please join us here at Armand Bayou Nature Center, 8500 Bay Area Blvd, Pasadena, Tx 77507, as we join forces with United States Fish and Wildlife, Wild Birds Unlimited and The Houston Zoo as we introduce our guests to the amazing journey our migratory birds endure.
