Morgantown Migratory Bird Day

We are tentatively planning to bring back this fun, free, family friendly event this year on Saturday, May 28. (We canceled the last two years due to covid -- we hope we will be able to proceed with this year's event!) Everyone is invited to celebrate Morgantown, WV's local version of World Migratory Bird Day with us on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Cooper's Rock State Forest. The day begins with a guided bird walk on the Raven Rock Trail at 7:30am. After the walk, join us in Pavilion #2 (near the overlook) for kids' crafts, owl pellet dissection, live raptor presentations, and more. This is a free, family friendly event! (Note that we will follow current CDC covid guidelines at this event.)
