From songbirds to seabirds, discover a diversity of southbound fall migrants with long-time birder and Staten Island resident, Anthony Ciancimino.

The group will meet at the Visitor Center & Lenape Gallery at Satterlee Street and the end of Hylan Boulevard (parking available).

Free. Registration not required but encouraged (it helps us know how many extra binoculars we should bring!).

On the occasion of World Migratory Day, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is raising national awareness on the importance of migratory birds for the ecosystem.

The Italian NGO CELIM and the Albanian Ornithological Society (AOS), together with Tirana European Youth Capital 2022, will organise a conference in Tirana on the potential of birdwatching to enhance the tourism offer in Albania. It will follow an intervention on how light pollution can affect bird migration and thus birdwatching tourism in Albania. After the workshop, there will be a guided birdwatching experience in the Divjaka-Karavasta National Park, a crucial area for bird migration in Albania.

Counting Bird and involving general publik into birdwatching. 

Bird-watching event for our employees and neighboring stakeholders including NGOs, private companies, regulators, and local schools. During the event, we will be raising awareness about the impact of light pollution on birds.

HIMPUS (Poultry Lovers Student Association) is a campus organization of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from Syiah Kuala University, Aceh which has been engaged in bird protection in the Banda Aceh area, Indonesia since 2013. We have been involved in bird protection efforts in Aceh. Such as implementing community awareness activities programs, monitoring migratory bird habitats and others. HIMPUS has also held World Migratory Bird Day celebrations since 2014 until now.
