Join us on May 8th as we celebrate World Migratory Bird Day! This year's theme is "Sing, Fly, Soar - Like a Bird". We may not be able to soar like a Swallow-tailed Kite or a Red-tailed Hawk but we can try to make a kite soar like a bird!

Celebrate the return of migratory birds in the midst of peak wildflower season in Leavenworth, Washington, and throughout the Wenatchee River valley!

Nature Study and Conservation Club, Department of Zoology,Jagannath University is a prominent nature related club in Bangladesh.The club observes World Migratory Bird Day by arranging educational activities,various competitions and awareness programs every year. This year, the activities will be organized in online because of COVID19 pandemic. A Wholesome webinar by bunch of bird experts, online discussion and bird related competition will be held on this day.

From bird nerd to bird curious, from wise old owl to adventurous tot, there is an event for everyone during Vancouver Bird Celebration: May 8-16, 2021. The Bird Celebration is a week-long series of events to celebrate Greater Vancouver’s birds. It was inspired by World Migratory Bird Day, a United Nations-sponsored initiative that recognizes the importance of birds as key indicators of our environment’s health. During the Bird Celebration, there will be bird-related workshops, walks, talks, exhibitions, and lectures across the Lower Mainland. Most events are free.

Songbird Celebration is an annual event celebrating the return of migratory songbirds and in honor of World Migratory Bird Day. This year we're going virtual! 

We encourage everyone to run in and around any precious ecological hot-spots near you and raise awareness on the importance of preserving the same. If not feasible, you may choose to run in any location as per convenience. #IAmAWetlandWarrior!

Con motivo del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias, en alianza con colegas de Environment for the Americas, Celebrate Urban Birds, Veracruz Río de Rapaces, Festival Alas Metropolitanas y PAU Guadalajara, en distintas fechas del mes de octubre daremos algunos talleres para niños y charlas gratuitas ONLINE para valorar a las aves, su gran esfuerzo de migración y conocer algunas de las especies que llegan a la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán en México. ¡Los esperamos! 

Wings Over Willapa is a festival connecting people with birds, art, and nature in celebration of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge held on September 23-26, 2021. This annual celebration includes at least 35 tours, hikes, walks, classes, and presentations. On Friday September 24, the Festival hosts a silent auction and dinner with keynote speaker Rosemary Mosco, a science writer and naturalist who creates Bird and Moon Comics and describes her focus as connecting people with nature.
