World Migratory Bird Day newsletter

Our Conservation Partner the Biodiversity Management Bureau of DENR headed by Director Dr. Theresa Mundita Sison-Lim invited us to join the worldwide celebration of the World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD). It is an annual awareness-raising campaign highlighting the need for the protection of migratory birds and their habitats. It will happen this coming May 10-11 2014 to herald the importance of migratory birds as integral part of the environment.

ON WORLD MIGRATORY BIRD DAY 2014 OUR SOCIETY IS GOING TO CONDUCT AN AWARNESS CAMP AT BETLA NATIONAL PARK(GARU RANGE). WITH THE HELP OF FOREST DEPARTMENT WE ARE CONDUCTING ONE DAY AWARNESS CAMP FOR VILLAGERS. DURING CAMP WE AWARE VILLAGERS TO CONSERVE BIRDS FOR THEIR COMING FUTURE. WE ALSO SHOW THEM SHORT MOVIE ON WILDLIFE ALONG WITH CLIPS OF BEAUTIFUL BIRDS OF JHARKHAND.

En atención al pedido presentado a la Dirección Provincial del Ambiente de Imbabura, del Ministerio del Ambiente, me permito indicarle que se realizaran eventos de sensibilización en instituciones educativas y comunidades en los sitios frecuentados por las aves migratorias, recorridos de campo con estudiantes de las Universidades de la Provincia, donde participaran Instituciones Públicas y Privadas, Gobiernos Locales, Provinciales y Parroquiales, ruedas de prensa para promover el evento.

In occasione del World Migratory Bird Day 2014 la Sezione Campania dell''Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani, insieme al Progetto "Sguardo sulla Campania - Biodiversità per il 2020" e in collaborazione con l'Ente Riserve Regionali "Foce Volturno-Costa LIcola, Lago di Falciano" organizza un workshop di fotografia naturalistica sul tema "Un Microcosmo per la Migrazione".

RSNH organize several events throughout the year especially which are linked with the local livelihood and employment generation through conservation of natural heritage. In the continuation of this series, this year RSNH has undertaken the mission of mobilizing mass through linking them with their livelihood through conserving the local natural heritage. The models of Abu Hills & Chak Ramnagar will be shared with the mass. The mentors will be the local people who already benefited from the past programs of RSNH and implemented the mission, fulfilling its basic objective.
