ICENECDEV will organise a 3 day celebration of world migratory bird day 2012 in the Buea municipality involving schools and local communities.These activities include:Bird watching on mount Cameroon, taxi movement sensitization Campaigns, awareness raising workshop and bird education in schools in Buea located in the south west region of Cameroon.
We will reach a larger public of about 3,000 peoples and increase the impact of your support to migratory birds in Cameroon and diaspora.

The Everhart Museum celebration of International Migratory Bird Day will feature exotic birds & birds of prey, bird-themed art activities and educational activities designed for visitors of all ages.
Families are invited to participate in tours of the Everhart Museum Bird Gallery, where there will be bird symbol tours, a scavenger hunt and a general information tour about birds and their habitats.

It is a one day celebration and at least 350-450 school children are invited to participate.Emphasis is on the cultural, social, historic, economic and spiritual relationship between birds and people.

School children would be spreading the conservation message by showcasing Botswana’s diverse culture through songs, dances and drama.
