En el Parque Principal del municipio de Jardín (Antioquia), se presentará la película infantil de aventura: Plumíferos. Además, antes de la proyección de la película se realizará la proyección de fotografías de aves de Jardín y de aves migratorias que llegan a este municipio.
El objetivo de la actividad es dar a conocer a través de esta película ambiental la importancia de las aves en el ambiente y a su vez la necesidad y el derecho que ellas tienen de estar en libertad.

En Reserva Natural Gral. San Martín y dentro del marco del 1° Aniversario de MUNDO ECO SENSORIAL, se organiza un festejo inspirado en el DÍA INT. DE LAS AVES MIGRATORIAS y el DÍA INT. DE LAS PLANTAS, que también se festejan en el mes de mayo.

Por eso todas las actividades que realicemos este día serán concientizarán sobre la importancia de las aves y plantas para el cuidado y la conservación de la biodiversidad.

DETALLE DE LAS ACTIVIDADES:

The festival will include an opening session, a workshop for women from 3 different Hima sites (Aanjar, Kfar Zabad, and Al Fakeha Anti-Lebanon) on the Hima concept and sustainable use of natural resources (part of the UN Women Project).

En el marco de la celebración del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias, se lelvará a cabo una salida a campo para avistar aves y safari fotográfico, además de una breve charla sobre la importancia y conservación de las aves y sus hábitats.

El programa de radio Mujer que sabe (100.9 FM ) entrevistará a la Directora General de AVEntúrate Coahuila para que informe a los Coahuilenses sobre la importancia del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias. Y la importancia de conservar las redes y el corredor biológico migratorio aquí en Coahuila.

On my radio show I will be interviewing Phil Straw (from the AWSG Australian Wader Study Group) about the plight of the waders because of reclamation of stop-over sites in Asia. The Saemangeum Estuary is a good example of an important bird ‘stop-over’ site within the Yellow Sea region in Asia.

The team from Shorebirds 2020, Birdlife Australia’s national migratory shorebird conservation project, has been raising public awareness by running workshops throughout Australia over the past six years. By producing and distributing an educational Shorebirds Identification Booklet which covers about 50 species of shorebirds, as well as a range of other materials, Shorebirds 2020 aims to inspire people to discover the shorebirds in their local wetlands and coastlines and to monitor shorebird numbers at sites across Australia.

Se proyectaran el documental "La Migración Alada" y la película "Volando a Casa" de manera gratuita en el micro cine local. Se expondrán fotografías de aves migratorias de la localidad y dibujos de aves migratorias de chicos de jardines de infantes de la localidad. Se armaran aves en origami reutilizado papel de revists.
